DishLust helps you collect recipes, plan meals and keep your cooking ideas synced across devices. This policy explains what information DishLust handles and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and, when supplied by Google or Facebook, your name and profile image.
- Your DishLust content: recipes, ingredients, instructions, tags, favourites, meal plans, shopping lists, cooking preferences and recipe images or links you choose to save.
- Technical information: limited authentication, security and service information needed to keep the app working.
How we use information
We use this information to provide sign-in, save and sync your content, import and scan recipes, operate app features, prevent misuse and improve reliability. DishLust does not post to your Google or Facebook account.
Where information is processed
DishLust uses service providers for authentication, cloud storage, hosting and selected recipe-import or scanning features. This includes Supabase for account authentication and cloud sync. Google and Facebook provide sign-in information only when you choose those options. Information may be processed in countries where these providers operate.
Local and cloud storage
DishLust can keep app data in your browser on the device you use. When you sign in and sync, a copy of your DishLust content is stored in the cloud under your account. Clearing your browser data removes the local copy; deleting your account data removes the cloud copy.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with service providers as needed to run DishLust, when you direct us to share something, or when required by law.
Retention and deletion
Cloud account information and synced content are retained while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion at any time using the instructions on the User Data Deletion page. Local browser data may remain on your devices until you clear it.
Your choices
You can export your recipe backup from Settings, edit your profile and recipes, disconnect social sign-in through Google or Facebook, or request access, correction or deletion of personal information.
Children
DishLust is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as DishLust changes. The date above will show when it was last revised.
